I collected this very small beetle at light last night :)

size of this specimen is 1.2 -1.3 mm :oops:

Not easy! It might be, but more detailed pictures are needed. If it is a Sphaeridiinae I would say Megasternum ...but this cannot be the last world!!!!!

Ok, I will try but the specimen is very small and my microscope is so poor :dead: :( .....but you think this can be histeridae ? :D

Alla fine Giovanni ed io abbiamo avuto la possibilità di visionare l'insetto (ce lo siamo passato :lol: ) e siamo concordi nel dire che non é nè un Histeridae, nè un Hydrophiloideo. Facendo una ricerca molto superficiale, a me sembrerebbe qualcosa come Corylophidae o Phalacridae, ma sono tutt'altro che sicuro. Alexandru mi ha incaricato di chiedere, visto che ora l'esemplare è in Italia, se qualcun'altro del forum è intenzionato a studiarlo. In questo caso mi si contatti pure con un un messaggio privato ed io provvederò a spedirlo.
