starting to work on Odonata part of this forum I have observed that this species is missing, also the subforum for this family was absent... now is there (grazie Marcello) and soon this will "land" there.
Epallage fatime (Charpentier, 1840) is an interesting large species found in Balkans, Turkey and part of Asia.
in some parts of Greece this is not an uncommon species, but not always easy too see... most often can be seen on a lateral branch or similar as a silhouette on the sky. also the larva is very interesting (some photo here, this being made by a friend)... I have not succeeded to find any.
