Biblio.
- Benson : RES - Handbooks ... Symphyta ... Vol. VI 2(b) - 1952
- Blank & Ritzau : Die Tenthredopsini Deutschlands p.234/238(in Pflanzenwespen Deutschland ... Edit. Goecke & Evers - 1998)

Ciao,
3064 (♀) & n° 3065 (♂) at an altitude of about 950 m. in Cne : Le-Petit-Abergement (Dépt. Ain - France) - 21.06.1995
These female and male was copulating. .

One uses the keys (which I already sent to the forum) here after :
download/file.php?id=47394&mode=view and download/file.php?id=47396&mode=view
One finds that it is a Tenthredininae .
According to Benson p.109/112 : one is in the presence of a tenthredopsis, because the 2 insects have :
The 1st tergite does not have a medial furrow (which I could not photo because of the poor quality of my camera)

Now I will take the keys of Blank & Ritzau :
One observes on these 2 captures :
♂ & ♀ :
    - Clypeus with the apical edge almost right (To see the ventral photo of the ♂)
    - Tarsi 3 (in particular in the ♀) are almost uniformly coloured. That distinguishes T. scutellaris from T. friesei (Tarsi 3 having the base of tarsomere 1 and the apical part of tarsomere 5 largely darkened).
♂ :
Tergite 8 having 2 great central depressions hairy and not very deep, with centrally a longitudinal ridge not very strong (but quite visible).
NB - According to my observations on other captures : The spots white/yellow on the vertex & occiput of T. scutellaris seem more extensive than at T. friesei.
♀ :
    - Clypeus has not a majority of black color and is not wrinkled.
    - The black abdomen is girdled of red .
Thus :
Tenthredopsis scutellaris (Fabricius 1804) (♂ & ♀)
Vive anche in Italia (to see : Fauna europaea) ..... OK ?

Saluti.
