Biblio. - Benson : RES - Handbooks ... Symphyta ... Vol. VI 2(b) - 1952 - Blank & Ritzau : Die Tenthredopsini Deutschlands p.234/238(in Pflanzenwespen Deutschland ... Edit. Goecke & Evers - 1998) ----- Ciao, n° 3064 (♀) & n° 3065 (♂) at an altitude of about 950 m. in Cne : Le-Petit-Abergement (Dépt. Ain - France) - 21.06.1995
One uses the keys (which I already sent to the forum) here after : download/file.php?id=47394&mode=view and download/file.php?id=47396&mode=view One finds that it is a Tenthredininae . According to Benson p.109/112 : one is in the presence of a tenthredopsis, because the 2 insects have :
Now I will take the keys of Blank & Ritzau : One observes on these 2 captures : ♂ & ♀ :
- Tarsi 3 (in particular in the ♀) are almost uniformly coloured. That distinguishes T. scutellaris from T. friesei (Tarsi 3 having the base of tarsomere 1 and the apical part of tarsomere 5 largely darkened).
NB - According to my observations on other captures : The spots white/yellow on the vertex & occiput of T. scutellaris seem more extensive than at T. friesei.
- The black abdomen is girdled of red . Tenthredopsis scutellaris (Fabricius 1804) (♂ & ♀) Vive anche in Italia (to see : Fauna europaea) ..... OK ? Saluti. D & JP Balmer
