USSR. III. Hym. Part 6 Symphyta (Translation in English 1994) ------ We identify without indisputabbly the sub-Family Allantinae with download/file.php?id=81974 This sub-Family is a Selandriinae (sensu Berland, see the 4th line before the end in the key above) I was not able to use my key ( viewtopic.php?f=375&t=38250&p=216902#p216902 ) , because I did not envisage the very accidental “melanic form” of Abdomen. I thus used the work of Taeger (that I did not known when I drafted this one) to determine the Genus, without taking into account the color of Tergites, I found Empria. --- Det. of Genus : See the Taeger’s key (only n° 1 to 9 p.108/109), followed with key of Benson 1952 (only n° 4 p.84) Remark : for Taxonus included in Taeger’s key, Macek represents the known European species (The habitus is completely different of our capture) ---- Det. of species, based on Benson’s key (only n° 1 to 6 p.86/87, numbering of this Author), followed with Berland’s key (only n° 7/8 p.213) [which is identical to Enslin’s key] [I did not find the description of E. granatensis Lacourt 1988 (species of the Southwest of France and Spain)] 1 - Eyes long oval --> 3 3 - Claws with inner tooth (see the bad photo) --> 6 6 - .. Hind ocelli further apart from each other than their distance from the hind margin of the Head
