Very interesting! I have an idea, but I need to see the elitral punctuation better. Do you only have one specimen or do you have several? Is the color completely black?

Hi, Silvano! I have two copies of this beetle, they are completely black. I think this is Eurostauletes longimanus (Gebler 1830).

Eurostauletes for sure. I do not have the description of Rhynchites longimanus Gebler, 1830, but I believe that the species is that, also because it is the only one, for this genus, already reported from Mongolia. So: Eurostauletes longimanus (Gebler, 1830) - Rhynchitidae Mongolia
