Coraebinae too. The Agrilinae has 2 lateral carinas on the pronotum (marginal and submarginal carina) and more or less a small prehumeral carinae at the posterior angles of the pronotum. |

Only for one of them there is a citation for Zambia: Meliboeus holubi. aeneus + albopilosus + bicoloratus bisetus burgeoni callosicollis cardinalis centaureae congolanus conradsi crassulus cuprinus doddsi dorsalis fasciatus gerardi haefligeri hancocksi holubi * hottentottus karayi komareki lesnei malaisei massaicus massarti mulanganus neavei nodosus notatus + plexus prasinus raphelisi ruandensis setulosus skulinai sutor tomenticollis tomentiventris toroensis viridanus wittei Most of them are without white hairy spots. Species similar to this one are not too many. Unluckily, I have never seen most of them, and also my bibliography on African Meliboeus is quite poor. At this moment, I can say that species marked with + are surely with hairy white spots, with about the same look of yours, but I don't know how many others are similar to those species. |
