- Head not almost completely yellow.
- Notopleural area mainly yellow.
- Wings without a dark cloud about middle.
- Abdomen black with yellow side-markings.
- Yellow lateral markings on abdominal terga not fused along lateral margin.

- The eyes are widely separed, thus it is a ♀.
Then Oxycera rara (= pulchella Meigen) ♀ (Also known for Italy)
