I wonder why it looks like ants. Have to steal the larvae of the ants' nest? What can you say about the behavior of ants look like? |

I don't think so. The myrmecomorphus look does not work with ants, that regulate their behavior influenced mainly by smell. Actually, no specific ant predator spider (Euryopis, Zodarion, Nomisia ....) is similar to an ant. It 's more likely that this mimicry is intended to predators of spiders (especially birds) which usually do not like to eat ants because of their sour taste. |
