... purtroppo è molto difficile fotografare soggetti in natura di soli 1 mm., specialmente in movimento. Si riesce a capire da queste foto il genere ?...sotto corteccia di Eucalipto. A me sembra un Lyctidae...ma potrei sbagliarmi.

I'm a little skeptical. D. opaculus is a species that I do not know, except from the identification keys. I see in your photos, that the elytrae have rows of punctures. In the original description of the species by Reitter, this is not mentioned. Also, in the only photo I found on the internet (from Philippe Ponel and Olivier Rose), there is not something similar. Here we have a 2-segmented antennal club. So, our choices are few. Probably it belongs to the genus Cisdygma (one more genus unknown to me, now synonymized with Cis), with only 2 species: C. clavicornis (Greece, Cyprus, Syria) and C. corioli (Morocco). ...bene, grazie a tutti per gli interventi. Credevo che con i Lyctidae dato che ce ne sono meno si potesse arrivare almeno al genere. Purtroppo si deduce sia un Ciidae e di questi ce ne sono troppi e tutti simili...anche i Cis gli somigliano molto. L'unica cosa che non mi andava a genio è la misura ....di questo 1 mm. al massimo 1,2 e lo posso dire con certezza...non mi posso sbagliare ! Se la prossima volta lo rincontro lo prendo. Intanto posso postare altre due foto. Detto questo grazie a tutti e buon lavoro.  |

... grazie Giuseppe, ho visto delle foto degli esemplari citati da te ma non si avvicinano al 1-1,2 mm partono dagli 1,8 mm. in su...boh... Comunque sembrano praticamente uguali... |
