moth species from dasylirion

The caterpillars are noxious to dasylirion - a desert plant from Asparagaceae from America, kept as ornamental. In middle Europe - a pot plant. The plant has a short broad stem with a tuft of of grass-like leaves and can be as big as a small tree., The larvae found at the bases of leaves where they cut then and feed on dead leaves which are tightly interwoven by silk. The plant has been bought in Holland. No idea for me what species it is. Tineidae? Wing span is 45 mm.

cheers,
