Dear friends, I've taken the first observations on Lamprodila rutilans in Hungary. The first specimens were getting out in the Budapest's city park. This is the most early data for me of these beetles. I took a few pictures of a specimen attacked by ants after its emerge from the exit hole. Most of the beetles were low near the ground and feeding fresh leaves. |

Grazie Marco e Daniele! Cosmin, thank you too. I did not know you interested in Buprestidae, I know only Adrian Ruicanescu from Romania. That's a good idea, I will meet you gladly! Today I went again to that park. It was a storm when I got there, but after a short rain I could look for the beetles.
