non è affato sicuro che sia una C. paradoxa; possibille ma non certo Ritengo la discriminante del protorace non del tutto affidabile con altre specie simili, tipo C. obscura; C. liburnica etc. etc. |

Ciao Fabrizio, please tell me the names of similar species occuring in Italy. I matched with Cantharis obscura and Cantharis liburnica and both are not. Ciao Klaas |

I do not know if it's a C. paradoxa that safe but the distinction between the species C. paradoxa, and liburnica and obscura is only edeagica, there are small differences in the shape stain prothorax simple but in my opinion unsafe Finally, if we exclude a geographical factor from a simple data such as photos without a distinguish C. paradoxa by a female C. monacha f. apennina? with what I do not say that portrayed is not a C. paradoxa, also the location is plausible, but the elements to affirm with certainty are not there. |
