Hi Valerio, for a Report in this species I'm surching for datas of founds in Europe. It is a rare species which seem to have a Distribution in western Europe in the climate of the Atlantic, but which can appear nearly everywhere in Europe. So if possible please let me know about how you found it. Did you look for ist funghi or did you sift rotten wood or what ever. Any information is welcome. And at least the question if I may work with the founddata mentioned above or do you have it more exactely. And may I know your whole Name please for the Report. Thank you in advance. Best regards Klaas |

Hi Klaas, I found it under bark of dead branch of Quercus ilex. Under bark in this place there were some fungal hyphae. In that day I found many little beetles and I dont remember if this species was near, on or distand from fungi, but I collect them (I fond two of them) simply because I saw them looking carefully on the wood. The found data is quite precise, Castelfusano is a coastal place near Rome where trere is a medium size Park dominated by some species of Quesrcus (like ilex as dominant, pubescens, robur) and Pinus pinaster and pinea in a contest of Mediterranean scrub. My whole name is Valerio Viglioglia Cheers |

Hi Valerio, was there any Fraxinus near by. Or did you find any funghi that could have been genus Daldinia? If not (I guess there fruiting bodies don't appear at this time of the year, but the old ones can be still there, dried of), is it possible to check this next springt? RM in the found data, is it the short form for Rome? What is the Name of the park you found it in? Any geografical koordinates? Do you use Tomasz Gazurek as det. on your Labels? Best regards Klaas |
