Yes Victor, you have well understood. Many species of Cucullia stay two or three years underground as pupa. I have seen that also C. absinthi, C. xeranthemi, C. dracunculi, C. tanaceti and other species do it. I'm sure of this because I have breeded all these species. Hi, Zerun. |

I was told some species , or more species of this genus ..well they have prolonged emergence , that's why some species can be collected in May and end of July for example... interesting . Up to now I only used to wait such a long time for Saturnia spini ! |

I think that you have to wait for all species. Some Zerinthya was borned after two years, the same makes C. erminea and many many other species. Hi, Zerun. |
