Could this be Cucullia tanaceti? Location Coll de Molla, Catalonia, 450 metres, 1 April. Any advice welcome!

Yes I think so too - have checked leps.it. There is a dark stripe from the head and also the small star-like paler marking near the leading edge of the forewing that is absent from C.taneceti. Thanks
