Alla lampada al mercurio la sera, La Digue, Seychelles, 3 ottobre 2007. Avrei detto Miridae solo per una similitudine superficiale con qualche specie di questa famiglia, sarebbe già tanto comunque se si arrivasse al genere o almeno alla sottofamiglia... |

Ieri sera Paride Dioli, che ringrazio  , mi aveva indirizzato sui Miridae Mirinae: cercando in rete avevo trovato che il genere Hyalopeplus poteva essere un buon candidato, e avevo trovato questa foto su iNaturalist, associata appunto al genere Hyalopeplus, che somigliava molto al mio esemplare.Cercando nella guida Odonata, Hemiptera, Hymenoptera and other insects of the Seychelles islands - Justin Gerlach, 2013 - Siri Scientific Press, l'unica specie del genere Hyalopeplus riportata per le Seychelles è Hyalopeplus rama, di cui però non trovo immagini, mentre Hyalopeplus similis corrisponde un po' meno, almeno a giudicare dalle poche foto che si trovano in rete, e non è stato segnalato nell'arcipelago, anche se questo vorrebbe dire ben poco. |

Here is the illustration of H. rama: And this is the holotype of H. longirostris, most probably a synonym of H. similis (http://research.amnh.org/pbi/library/0258-004.pdf) In H. rama, outer edge of corium is reddish colored, but it is hyaline in your specimen. But I wasn't aware that the only Hyalopeplus species recorded from Seychelles was H. rama. Then your specimen might be H. rama. Sorry, I did not realize you're not Italian...  In the Gerlach's book about lepidoptera of the Seychelles, group that I know much better than Hetetoptera, many id's are not accurate at species level, so I would prefer to know your opinion more than that of Gerlach about this subject
