Mi è capitato di trovare in data 15 - VII - 2012 questo splendido coleottero già morto nei pressi di una strada in zona Santomoro -PT-. Non ho resistito dal provare a prepararlo e tentare di identificarlo se pur non mi occupi di Lucanidi, ergo da completo ignorante in materia chiedo il vostro gentile parere per dare un nome a questo gioiello.

E' un L. cervus.

il tetraodon, a differenza del cervus, ha il dente mediano in posizione decisamente più "basale".
