Hi,

found this chrysidid in a pitfall trap in 21.july.2010 (Leg. Cosmin O. Manci) in a stepic habitat, a small reserve in NE part of Romania (Valea lui David).
size 10-11 mm and I presume that is a female, is possible to have an ID, if needed I can try to make better of more detailed photo of any part needed (sorry about the not very good preparation but is the first one that I glue).

Hi Cosmin!

Your Chrysidid it's a female of Chrysis rufitarsis Brullé.
It's not a common species!

Don't worry for your preparation, it's very good,
however there's no need to open the wings to ID Chrysis.

this is very likely to be correct :ok: ... just for confirmation ;) , can you post a photo of the third tegite in postero-lateral view?
