There are several menu items marked with an asterisk '*'. Before these operations are performed, the Depthmap is saved in an internal buffer This is to enable the Quick Undo function to return you to the same Picture you had before the operation was performed. This facility will currently only take you back one step, and it only restores the Picture, not Frames or Out or the DFT Filters status. Use the Backspace as a shortcut for the Quick Undo function. Set Undo Point also saves this information.
Save Work saves all Frames, the Depthmap, and the contents of the Progress box, along with a few other internal settings, in the current Work folder. To restore all of these items use Resume Work which is duplicated on the File menu, select the appropriate .czd file and click Open. This action resets everything and restarts as if you had just loaded a new set of Frames, but restores the Picture to its previous state as well, and puts a summary of how this state was reached in the Progress box.
You can only have one copy of each file in the
Work folder but you can access them individually, or all of the Frames together
with the other Undo menu Items. If a Frame is visible on the screen,
and a corresponding file exists in the Work folder, then you can Reload it by pressing
Backspace. This is a useful facility when altering a Frame.
You can use Save Active, or another function e.g. Save Work that saves the
Active Frame, make the changes, then change
your mind, press Backspace, no harm done.
