,This small carabidae was collected in Transylvania - near Abrud....I hope I can get a name for this

This one is easier: it is a Trichotichnus laevicollis (Duftschmid, 1812). Löbl & Smetana mention from Romania only the ssp. carpathicus Schauberger, 1936. I do not know this subspecies so precisely, therefore I can only report the data. Personally I doubt that a subspecies can live in a small area surrounded by all sides by another subspecies, but I am not an expert of this genus. Regards
