Good morning, This smart Elateridae, entirely clothed in brown color, is a "compagnon d'infortune" of the previous ones I posted recently, having been collected on the luminous sheet in Sabah, Borneo, during the same period (mid-june 2023). The only thing I know about it is its length : 26 mm. In its box, it is waiting, eager to know its name at least. Thank you in advance for your determination

I am very impressed by the prefix, "Nippono".  ( I try to use the corresponding emoticon). I suppose Japan is not so far of Borneo, after all. Thank you so much

Nipponoelater was established by the Japanese author Kishii in 1985 and includes many species from Palearctic to Malayan Region
