Hi,
I found this water bug in a big puddle, mountain forest, South Poland. Is is possible to determine to species level?

A photo from the side would be great.We should see the prothorax from the side. |

It is still hard to see the prothorax from the side as you said.But I think the both specimens are Gerris lacustris. |
