Lunghezza = 11.0 mm
Forse raccolsi in quel viaggio altri Elateridae ma questo è l'unico che ho tenuto.
Ricordo dell'ultima vacanza di un mese........in tenda.

:hp: :hp: Questo è interessante e quindi da vedere perché potrebbe essere la femmina di Megathous hispanicus Platia & Gudenzi, 2005 che risulta ancora sconosciuta.

Dallo studio compiuto da Giuseppe la sua ipotesi iniziale è risultata corretta.
L'esemplare in fotografia appartiene alla specie Megathous hispanicus Platia & Gudenzi, 2005 e rappresenta la prima femmina nota di tale taxon.
Anche questo dato è stato inserito in una recente pubblicazione del nostro Anostirus.
Direi che si può togliere il (cf.) dal titolo della discussione.
Sono felice del mio piccolo ritrovamento e rinnovo i miei complimenti a Giuseppe per il suo enorme contributo nella conoscenza di questa interessante famiglia di coleotteri. :birra:
