Adrian ora dovrebbe essere Lamprodila decipiens decipiens. Posso chiederti, fermo restando che sono affari tuoi, perchè specie così belle (Dicerca e Lamprodila) sono preparate così approssimativamente?

Thank you for the notification. The scientific names are changing too fast. This specimen was donated from my mentor in Entomology. Now my sight is very bad, I have a severe hypermetropia (I cannot see close). Well, I wear glasses but I have not the ability to re-prepare the specimens.

Is here any problem with notation??

This is not Lamprodila decipiens,
but this is Lamprodila mirifica (Mulsant, 1855)!!

I had the specimens determined by Roman Holynski, I refer especially at the other species I said it is Lamprodila mirifica
Please change the title.

No problem, I supposed those L. mirifica is actually L. dives because I have found them on Alnus glutinosa, but this is not the first case when I found buprestids on unusual host plants. For example, I have found all specimens (over 10) of Agrilus hastulifer on Populus sp. (alba, nigra, tremula) and no one on Quercus in the Letea "island", Danube Delta, even there are Quercus there. And I found A. hastulifer on Populus every time when I was in that location. I know, this is strange.
And as well as strange is I found Coraebus elatus, more then 30 specimens all on Onobrychis viciifolia in a small reservation area near Cluj. All specimens of C. elatus are some smaller than usual, but they are included in the size range of the species.

Oh very interesting! I also found Buprestids on other plants than normaly. For exemple a Serie of Agrilus roscidus (over 10) on Ulmus sp. in Croatia and there were no Rosaceae in the near of 100 m! And they all were sitting and copulate on the leaves. Also very strange.
