Metodo di tentata determinazione assolutamente non convenzionale, ma basata su un ragionamento, fatto da un "non esperto".
La specie somiglia al Puer maculatus, di cui trovo immagini sul web, ma non è lui.
Vedo che esiste un'altra specie Puer algericus van der Weele, [1909] (che non so assolutamente come sia fatto): il nome specifico promette bene ;)
Sono completamente fuori strada?
In attesa dei veri esperti, mi bastono intanto da solo :no1:

Mi congratulo vivamente con Davide e Roberto per descrivere un nuovo genere e Ascalaphidae specie, e ringrazio di cuore entrambi gli autori per la denominazione di questa specie animale belle e misteriose dal bordo del Sahara ...
