Cardiomera genei Bassi, 1834 è una interessante specie ripicola del Mediterraneo occidentale, nota anche di Sicilia. Sembra specializzata a vivere alla base di piccole cascatelle, tra il ghiaietto e i muschi fradici.

Marocco, Alto Atlante, Tazouguerte, 1600 m, 16.V.1995, P. Leo leg.

Lunghezza 12 mm
