Hi to all,
I think this would be the last pictures of insect specimens here.I still keep the light but a few beetles come and also this topic is getting too long.
I would ask can you suggest a liqiud solution that will preserve the specimens for about 2 weeks in the traps at high temperatures,because I hope would be able to put traps next year on other localities that can not check very often.I can think of salt solution,vinegard,alcohol...but havent tested anything for a long period.

I'll add another report as last time I got completely different results.
23-29.09. 2012, locality is all the same-Pastren vill.(Stara Zagora region)
Day temperatures got up to 33-34.

The first and 3rd Aphodius I think belong to A. immundus, the second one I don't know .....the last specimen belong to Colydiidae and you have also a very nice Tenebrionidae there

The tenebrionid beetle is maybe Eledonoprius sp?

Thank you, Alexandru! The first Aphodius is only about 3 mm.

Dytiscidae nr. 1 = Colymbetes fuscus (I think, if is not other species of Colymbetes in Bulgaria)
Dytiscidae nr. 2 = Rhantus punctatus

How that Curculionidae got into the light trap? It not flies.

About that Curculionidae:More recently I have put the light trap beside a wall.Some beetles climb the wall and eventually fall into the trap.

In my opinion the two yellow Aphodiini are not Acanthobodilus immundus: elytra seem not to be denticulate at shoulders. The first one is probably Subrinus sturmi (Harold, 1870), the third could be Bodiloides ictericus(Laicharting, 1781). The darker Aphodiini is Loraphodius suarius (Faldermann, 1835.
