Maladera (Macroserica) sp.
In Cyprus there are three species, two of them described recently. None is known from Nicosia area, they are only recorded from Troodos massif (M. cerrutii, M. dentipenis) and Miliou, W of Troodos (M. miliouensis).
The identification requires good lateral images of the paramera.

According to Geoffrey Miessen it is Maladera cerrutii Sabatinelli, 1977. The author is now lying in the bed with the flu, but let's wait his support for the ID.

Grazie ragazzi la bile mi ha risvegliato :x
In effetti il collega :lov1: che ha riproposto la mia specie (M.cerrutii) attribuendogli i parameri della specie che descriveva (M.dentipes) ha fatto un bel casino.
E mi domando se a Norma Codice la M.dentipes sia di fatto un sinonimo di M.cerrutii e la nuova specie ancora da descrivere, oppure no?

Jan in any case your specimens are Maladera cerrutii Sabatinelli, 1977 with no doubts.
