Ho descritto l'ambiente di cattura in questa discussione. La specie congenerica Leistus fulvibarbis danieli è stata descritta in questa discussione. Nella stessa sede erano stati illustrati i caratteri differenziali tra le due specie, ma mancava una foto "intera" di L. sardous.

La specie è presente anche a quote più basse, sempre che sia la stessa !
