A new species of the genus Aegomorphus was described by two Polish entomologists in 2005 as Aegomorphus wojtylai :

Since 2008, he is synonymous with Aegomorphus obscurior PIC, 1904

In this year I again visited the habitat A. obesurior.
The result of my research show on the attached photo.

Claudio, my dear friend,

When I arrived in the vicinity of Fanaiti - Paradisia, it found there one old trap insects lying on the ground. It was full of rotten beetles of the genus Protaetia and hornets. I pledged their own traps in the number of 30 pieces, but not only there - I did it in three different locations. After a week I gathered from my traps insects and hence I have R. pruinosum.

Coming back to the topic A. obscurior:
With the same material as before, with oak harvested 18 IV 2015 I recently got another beetle!

Adam remember im still interested in this guy...
