What could it be?

I think that this is a strange form of Phymatodes testaceus

Thank you alot I see that this species is very variable in coloration.

It looks really strange. If possible I would like to check it directly.

Thank you alot for your attention Pierpolo. I asked the photographer (M.C. Sancak) whether he collected the specimen but unfortunately he does not collect specimens as a principal.

Thank you. I don't believe that it is Phymatodes testaceus but something different. My idea is something close to Trichoferus pallidus due to the pubescence on the pronotum that is missing in Phymatodes. For this reason it will be very important to have better pictures to be sure for the identification. To check the specimen should be the only sure way.

Pierpaolo, sorry for not agreeing with you, but T. pallidus has not the hing femora so enlarged and the pronotum is pubescent but not flat as in this specimen.
The only sure thing is that it would have been a goos choice to collect it, but, unfortunately, the photographs very rarely collect...

Hi Riccardo, I’ve seen the legs, antennae and pubescence. In my opinion they are enlarged by the flash light. I remain on my position, for me it is a Trichoferus probably pallidus or something close. Note that I know pallidus in Turkey from Alanya and Egridir that are far but not too much far from Izmir.
