Sulla base della singola foto, in parte sfocata, si può dire con sufficiente sicurezza che l'esemplare è del genere Chrysoperla, ma non di più. In questo genere il possibile viraggio del colore nella stagione fredda, dal verde al roseo passando per il 'giallino', è ben noto. In Italia il genere Chrysoperla è, tra i Neurotteri, uno dei pochi a svernare allo stadio adulto.
