I had to kill this before to take the photo. She were very active and trying to take off. Cusma area, Colibita, 25.06.2008, Romania

Hi Adrian,
as far as I know this species is uncommon in Romania.
We (P. Rapuzzi and me) we should be very interested to have a look directly under the binocular.

PS. Just to be correct, the genus is Ropalopus
