Credo un Carabidae, ripreso in uno slargo della strada bianca che percorre la zona chiamata Liscione.
Ambiente: bosco misto di tipo caldo/secco (ved. precedenti descrizioni più dettagliate)
Circa 850 metri di quota, versante sud.

Per le dimensioni (gulp) direi 15 mm (+/- 3/4 mm). Le note di quel periodo sono andate distrutte.

Io avevo pensato a un Harpalus, magari serripes o dimidiatus. Ma è veramente difficile, date le condizioni.

a me dà l'impressione di un'Amara, perché le zampe mi sembrano un po' troppo slanciate per un Harpalus, e anche perché le strie elitrali verso l'apice direi che diventano più profonde, con interstrie più convesse; fra l'altro, mi dà l'idea che fosse una bestia di colore metallico

certo che considerando le dimensioni indicate (doppio gulp), anche dando per scontato che fossero 15 mm meno 3/4 mm (e sono ancora troppi), se è un'Amara direi che può essere solo un'Amara (Amara) eurynota (Panzer, 1796)

Anche io ho pensato fin dall'inizio che fosse un Amara per le stesse ragioni espresse da Maurizio, anche se in effetti questa sarebbe un po' oversize... :?

tieni conto che a quanto ho visto, spesso gli insetti misurati con lo spannometro tendono a fare la stessa fine dei pesci nei racconti dei pescatori :lol1:

ricordo tempo fa su FNM una foto di una Rhyssa persuasoria sul vetro di una finestra, con una lunghezza stimata di almeno 15 cm :sh: :sh: :sh: ...

E' proprio per questo motivo che come te continuo a credere che sia un'Amara ;)
