Questo Aphodinae è un Acrossus luridus?

It's not very good photo, but certainly it's not sbgn. Acrossus. It seems to be sbgn. Chilothorax, maybe A. (Ch.) distinctus. Is to be some better photo for sure identification. How long is the specimen? (I presume about 5 mm).

Hai ragione le fotografie sono mediocri
Ne aggiungo altre due sperando possano servire. Comunque se non erro il C. distinctus non è noto per la Sicilia....

Really, A. (Ch.) distinctus was never been recorded from Sicily. Your specimen is very interesting but I'm afraid it is not possible to identify it only on the basis of these pics.
For a certainly, I can say that is Chilothorax. From Sicily were so far recorded only A. (Ch.) lineolatus and A. (Ch.) paykulli.

certo che di queste belle bestioline ne abbiamo viste un sacco nel loro habiitat preferito ma ..... lo sfondo di queste foto sono davvero... come dire... blah !

It is possible that the species in these photos is new to Sicily (and maybe sp.n.!) - in European members of sbgn. Chilothorax, I have never seen elytral pattern like this (I mean configuration of black spots on light-colored background), except A. (Ch.) distinctus which is a species with considerable variability of elytral pattern.
